Bizarre rampage overnight on a homeowner’s rooftop
Friday, 21st December, 2007
You can’t make some of this stuff up.
Police say a man went on a bizarre rampage overnight that began on a homeowner’s rooftop and ended with officers using nearly every tool in the book short of lethal force.
The incident began when a homeowner found a man on his roof trying to start a fire, using his shirt.
The man became irate when confronted and began hurling roof tiles at police and firefighters, hitting two officers and a fire truck, according to reports.
Authorities responded by hitting him with water from a fire hose, rubber bullets and a Taser.
After being hit with the Taser he fell off the second-story roof.
Then he got up and started to flee.
A police dog caught up with him and bit him on the leg.
The unidentified man is now hospitalized and recovering from his injuries.
The only thing he missed was saying… “Don’t tase me Bro!”
Here is uncut video from the event.
