Capable Networks currently owns and operates these community based sites. DroboSpace.com, DVRplayground.com, MonsterCommunity.com, MyDigitalEntertainer.com, RoboCommunity.com, SansaCommunity.com, SlingCommunity.com, and TechLore.com
Now they have just acquired another, and it has to be the biggest, its the TiVoCommunity.com website.
They just announced the acquisition today. This is huge news because the TivoCommunity receives over 70 million page views per month and 20 million unique visitors.
For now, Capable Networks plans to maintain the current, successful format of TiVoCommunity but they are planning a few specific improvements to the website. We also understand the TiVo Community store will still be available through the website.
Capable also has the FireSociety.com and WineExperience.com on their community platform.
We have had a lot of experience with the people at Capable Networks, from moderating some of their sites to writing blogs for them. Capable runs a good, clean house. They listen to their users and moderators and are always trying to improve their product.
This should be a great boost for the TivoCommunity. It should help to make the site more friendly from both the posts to the usability. We are definitely looking forward to seeing the enhancements Capable Networks will bring to the site!
