We recently interviewed the creator of ZIP! a new board game from GaZimaGames.
This game looks very fun and exciting, but what we were interested in, is why a start up company, is entering the market with a board type game. These days it seems that everyone is playing games on computers, PS3s or Xboxes. Come to find out, this is not true.
With the proliferation of the computer games, the concern with online predators and the lack of family intereaction that board games are actually coming back.
This is great news! We for one feel that playing games with family or friends is much better than holing away in a corner playing against real or imaginary friends.
We also love GaZimaGames slogan, it hits the nail on the head!

As a late 20 something, board games are really coming back. We started playing games again because of poker, but have since moved on. The classics like Monopoly and Life are still big, but we are still looking for new games. Thanks for the great tip!
